Sarmientosaurus musacchioi a new specie of titanosaurian dinosaur was discovered, the skull fossil was unearthed in Argentina. This dinosaur weight is said to range from the weight of a cow to that of the lagest sperm whale.
Researcher's found that The brain of these dinosaur is very small though they are very big you see it in the photo indicated in blue, pink, yellow and red. and also they possese long neck and tail, and may have been the largest plant-eater (herbivores) in the southern hemisphere landmasses during Cretaceous.
They also found evidence that these dinosaur posseses more sensory abilities than other sauropods. They suggest that they have big eyeballs and good vision and the inner ear may have tuned for hearing low-frequency airborne sounds.
Sarmientosaurus musacchioi is named for the town of Sarmiento in Chubut Province, which is close to the discovery site. The species name also honors the late Dr. Eduardo Musacchio, a paleontologist and professor at the UNPSJB and friend to Dr. Martínez and other team members.
