PREVENTION
AND TREATMENT.
Tetanus is a
deadly disease mostly common in developing countries. From the causes we
understand that poor hygiene is the major concern.
Hence, for you to prevent tetanus keep a good
hygiene..and also in kids by avoiding them playing without their shoes on, if
you can't do that always check your kids after play.
Further
more, once you experience those symptoms
expecially muscle stiffness. To avoid complications seek medical care
immediately.
Like in those days when we were young if we
get injured by nail during play our parents we take a cutlass and put it in the
fire to make it red hot , when it's hot they'll take palm oil and pour out some drops on the
red hot cutlass, then the oil will be
hot. Then the hot oil will be drop on the surface of the injury drop by drop to
kill the bacteria.
This is the
traditional way of preventing tetanus. [Practise by the urhobo's in Nigeria].
