India: Getting taller through surgery

  A 24-year old lady from the town of kota in western India, went to Dr Amar sarin, an orthopaedic surgeon in Delhi, who made her taller than she is before with eight  centimetres(8cm) taller.She says people used to make fun of her, and Cound not get a job. She also says her younger sister is doing the same surgery.

   One of the procedures of this surgery it involves the breaking of the bones in the legs which is less painful due to the use of modern techniques very.
Dr sarin says "this surgery is one of the most difficult cosmetic surgeries to perform". Dr sarin started this surgery five years ago and has operated 300 patients.

Dr sudhir kapoor, the president of orthopaedic association says "we don't recommend that people should do this surgery except for in very rare cases, and there's a high risk of complications "
